French/Mediterranean Style
Mediterranee Restaurant is a quaint little French neighborhood restaurant located at 10123 Colvin Run Road in Great Falls, just off Leesburg Pike and up the road from Colvin Run Mill.
The restaurant, which seats approximately 50 people, serves French Mediterranean Cuisine inspired from the French people who lived in North Africa during the French occupation. French chef/owner Jacques Imperato, who was born in Algeria, was one of the last generation of French Pied Noir, and as such, being French with an Italian and Spanish background, has put together some of the finest recipes on his menu where the seasoning and taste are always in control. Jacques was trained in France in Classical and French Nouvelle Cuisine.
Since arriving in the Washington area, Jacques has been working in places like Maison Blanche, Tiberio, Donna Adele and Lavandou. He was also Chef/Owner at Chalet de la Paix in Arlington.
The charm of Mediterranee Restaurant will remind you of a small French Inn around the Riviera. The service, which is casual but prompt, will bring to mind the French Bistro style.
The restaurant is open for Lunch Tuesday-Friday with a 3-course Menu at $22.00/person and a 2-course Menu at $18.00/person as well as A la Carte choices. Dinner is served Monday-Saturday.
We offer a 3-course Menu priced at $28.95/person every evening, as well as Chef Jacques' Specialties. Mondays through Thursdays are special events nights. Please see our Special Events section for more details.
